Size and design
Compared to its predecessor, the Linea Mini R + Cool Touch has the same compact size, making it a perfect fit for home use. This addresses the space constraints often faced by home baristas while preserving the iconic stainless steel aesthetic that La Marzocco is renowned for. The design of the Linea Mini R + Cool Touch machine has a new slide edge called the Della Pietra curve which was inspired by the Linea Classic S named after La Marzocco's head designer Stefano Della Pietra. This beautiful machine fits seamlessly into home kitchens and is illuminated by barista lights. This makes it that the work area is well-lit for precision during the brewing process. 

Brew paddle
The brew paddle on this machine isn't only aesthetically pleasing, it is also functional of course. It controls the initiation and stopping of the brewing process. The brew paddle has 2 key characteristics. The first one is variable flow control, or in other words you can manually adjust the pressure applied to the coffee puck during extraction. The second one is that it facilitates a pre-infusion stage. This means that water will be gently introduced to the coffee grounds before full pressure is applied. This helps saturate the coffee evenly and enhances the extraction process, contributing to a more nuanced flavor profile.

That is why we highly recommend to have a look at the Linea Mini R Pro Touch. This wand is cool to the touch and the polymer spout helps for not having milk stick to it after steaming your milk. The Pro Touch is performing a lot better and it is worth the small extra investment.
