All about the JURA W4 – compact black-coffee machine

The W4 makes black coffee only, in a body 29.5 cm wide that fits a small coffee corner, a practice or a reception desk. JURA’s P.A.G.2 grinder and three brewing processes give espresso, coffee and lungo at one touch, for up to 50 cups a day. The 500 g bean container and the 3 liter water tank lock, which matters in a shared space, and the machine is ready for a payment system.

Frequently asked questions

How many people is the JURA W4 for?
JURA recommends up to 50 cups a day. Counting about 3.3 cups per person per working day, that is a team of around 15 people. Check your peak too: if everyone takes a coffee in the same ten minutes, size up.

Can the W4 make cappuccino?
No. It makes black coffee only: espresso, coffee and lungo. For milk drinks in the same footprint, choose the JURA W8.

What do we need on site?
A stable counter, a power socket and a tap or kitchen nearby to fill the tank. No plumbing or drain is needed.

Who keeps it clean, and how long does it take?
Your team can do it without a cleaner. Daily: empty the grounds container and the drip tray while the machine is switched on, and top up the tank with fresh water. When the machine asks for it, roughly every 180 preparations, run the cleaning program with a JURA cleaning tablet. Change the CLARIS filter when the machine signals it; with the filter in use you do not need to descale.
