JURA builds its professional machines in four lines: the compact W line, the X line, the high-volume GIGA X line and the GIGA W10. Choosing between them comes down to three questions: how many cups a day, does anyone drink milk or cold coffee, and is there a tap within reach. This page answers them side by side, for the eleven JURA professional machines we sell, and links to our full review of each family.
Three questions that decide
- How many cups a day? JURA recommends the W line and the GIGA W line for up to 50 cups a day, the X line for up to 80, the GIGA X3 for up to 150 and the GIGA X line for up to 200. Count about 3.3 cups per person per working day: 15 people, 24 people, 45 people and 60 people respectively.
- Milk, cold brew, or black only? The W4, X4 and X4c make black coffee only. The W8, X10, GIGA X3, GIGA X8 and GIGA W10 have a milk system. Cold brew comes from the X10 family and the GIGA W10.
- Tank or tap? The "c" versions (X4c, X10c, GIGA X3c, GIGA X8c) connect to the water supply. The X line uses a 3/8 inch thread, the GIGA X line a 3/4 inch thread. The X4 and X10 can also be fitted with JURA's Fresh water kit X line.

The W line: compact, up to 50 cups
The W4 and W8 share one body, 29.5 cm wide, with a 3 liter tank and a grounds container of about 25 servings. The W4 makes espresso, coffee and lungo; the W8 adds a milk system, the Coffee Eye and 17 specialties. They suit a small office, a practice or a reception desk, and they need someone who refills and empties them during a busy day. Read our JURA W4 review and our JURA W8 review.
The X line: one grinder, up to 80 cups
The X4 and X10 families share a body of 37.3 × 47 × 46.1 cm, a bean container of 500 g that extends to 1 kg, and a grounds container of about 40 servings. The X4 and X4c make black coffee only; the X10 and X10c add a milk system and cold brew through JURA's Cold Extraction Process. Both come in a tank version and a "c" version for the water supply. This is the line for a team of 20 to 25 people. Read our JURA X4 and X4c review and our JURA X10 and X10c review.
The GIGA X line: two pumps, up to 150 or 200 cups
The GIGA X3 and GIGA X8 have two pumps, two thermoblocks and two fluid systems, a 4.3 inch touchscreen and ten levels for coffee strength and milk temperature. The GIGA X3 has one grinder and a 1 kg bean container, for up to 150 cups a day. The GIGA X8 has two grinders with 650 g each, so a decaf or a second coffee is always available, for up to 200 cups. The "c" versions connect with a 3/4 inch thread. Read our JURA GIGA X3 and X3c review and our JURA GIGA X8 and X8c review.
The GIGA W10: two grinders and cold brew, up to 50 cups
The GIGA W10 is built for choice rather than volume: two grinders, a cold version of all 35 specialties, a water bypass for long drinks and a 6.7 inch Panorama Coffee Panel. Its 2.6 liter tank and grounds container of about 20 servings keep it at up to 50 cups a day: a client lounge, a boardroom, a small demanding team. Read our JURA GIGA W10 review.
